The drawing, Lead Me Home, is part of the newly revised and expanded devotional, God is my Refuge. In this tenth anniversary edition, there are eighteen full color paintings, with meditations and scripture reflecting on the six Hebrew words that we translate as “refuge.” Included is a study guide on the six Hebrew words.
Julie Drew has taken us on a journey through her devotional “God is my Refuge”
Julie has utilized a beautiful portrayal of refuge through word, art, poetry and personal stories. Julies’ ability to combine all of these elements into each devotional with balance, vulnerability and grace leads the reader to the place of real faith. My own reading of “God is my Refuge” has me reflecting on my level of faith stirred by the “unanswered questions” within Julies personal stories. I desire concrete proof of positive turnout for being faithful, “God is my Refuge” instead leads us/me to remember that faith in God is in Him being my refuge, not my circumstance.
Thank you Julie Drew, I am well blessed by these reminders.
