The Blessing Cup
This is something God started showing me back in 1994, when I started working on the painting, The Blessing Cup. I symbolized God as creation. I see him in the world around me and through the metaphors in nature. I am in the central part of the painting. I often use the wild rose as symbol for myself in paintings. The wine and bread symbolize my relationship with God and Jesus. God’s living water pours into me to the point of overflowing. Which in turn, spills over into the world around me, symbolized by the plants in the garden.
It took 10 years to finish this painting.
