On the Great Orme
On one side of Llandudno, Wales there is a Great Orme, which is derived from the Viking (Old Norse) word sea serpent. Across the bay is the Small Orme. Both mountains resemble a sleeping Sea serpent or dinosaur. We hiked up the Great Orme to see the view. It was peaceful up there, rocky with a springy turf. The Irish Sea stretched out before us blending in with the sky. Goats were lounging around enjoying the sunshine.
