Sleepy Seal Basking in the Sun

Sleepy Seal Basking in the Sun (14” x 18”) is the same – the mussel covered rocks and seal are of handmade papers and the water is acylic on the canvas. I really like the effect of the handmade paper on the canvas creating a different texture.It was amazing to watch the seals scoot along the rough mussel beds, so awkward on land and graceful in the water. They spent much of the time laying around without a care in the world.
